Decorator Crab

Hi all, I have identified what I am pretty certain to be a decorator crab, and he is steadily growing. My invert books say get rid of this destructive little critter, (which is fine by me, he looks like a spider). The only problem is, the books dont tell me how to get rid of him. He lives in a nice rock with mushrooms on it, and I was trying to think of how to get rid of him. All ideas would be appreciated!

They can be destructive since the pull off corals and other things in the tank and attach it to their bodies as camouflage

You may have to lure him out at night with some food and just grab him, they are typically not fast.

If I can keep my chow hounds (shrimp) away long enough...lol. Thanks Eric!

you could always net the shrimp and keep him off to the side while you do this.
