Hi all,
I am new here and new to the hobby. After some research, I started with used RS max 250, that was stocked with everything by someone else but he stopped after a crisis due to temperature. Anyway, I got the tank full of live rocks, however, I kept them in a pocket for four days, did little brushing, then added to the tank. Now, It is the second week in cycling, I didn’t use any additives. I notice these pink, purple, and red things growing on the rocks. I am not sure what are these; cyanobacteria or coralline?!
I tried to brush it a bit, but it can’t be removed.
I am not in hurry to stock my tank, instead I would like to do everything slowly but in a right way.
My water parameter for today:
KH: 6
PH: 8.3
Salinity: 1.027
HH3: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 9
PO4: 0
Ca: 500
Mg: 1800
Temp: 25.2 c
Any information is highly appreciated
Thanks
