I have read too many mixed things and need a definitive answer. Can a Catalina goby survive a cupramine treatment? Got the ich on a couple new purchases. Had the qt setup and going so iwent ahead and bought them In the qt tank before adding to DT so I can monitor them. Sure enough. So, yay or nay?

Cupramine can be used on the most sensitive of fishes and even scaleless fishes which cannot tolerate copper. It is safe to use with all Gobies. Follow directions, control the copper level in the 0.3 to 0.5 ppm range and all will be fine.

There is no known ornamental marine fish which cannot tolerate a proper treatment using Cupramine. On the other hand, there are many hobbyists not capable of performing a proper treatment. Either they change what they are directed to do, do it poorly, or fail to control the treatment. These are the 'usual' causes of failure when any treatment is undertaken.
