covering my HOB overflow question

hey i just thought of trying to cover my overflow box with some live rock or maybe even some fake rock which both would get covered by coraline easily.....anyway to hide it and work it into my rock work so what would work best to attach rock to the acrylic box?

You can paint it to match the color of the back glass which will make it blend in. You can also super glue some frags to it with something that grows like a weed like xenia or yellow polyp and it wont be long before it is completely covered.

I have found that the easiest way to do this is buy some frags already glued or growing on a frag peg. Cut the post of the peg off with toe nail clippers and glue it to a scrap piece of thin acrylic. Drain the tank down some so you have dry surface to work with and then glue the acrylic/peg right to the overflow box.

If you do that though, make sure the coral doesn't block the flow into the box.
