I have a super skimmer (125 i think, got it used). Anyway, I had the usual problems with consistent operation you keep reading about. Water level must remain absolutely constant. Like, within 1/4 inch!! ATO took care of that. What I did also is add an air pump. Like the kind used for air stones and the like. With all variables constant this skimmer works amazingly well. Really unbelivable, night and day!! So anyone with a super skimmer just have an ATO, do the fishing line mod, and inject some air and you'll have a skimmer that will give anything out there some stiff competition for a fraction of the $$$$.
