Coralife Digital Thermometer Issues

I've always kind of assumed my coralife digital thermometer was off, but decided to try to test it out today. My overnite ready was 75.0 degrees. I felt the water, and thought no way is it 75 degrees. So I put in this mercury thermometer that I have and it reads about 81. Then I went out and got a digital kitchen thermometer and it reads at 80. This seems about right to me, anyone else notice that these read 5 degrees off!! :bouncebox

Now, anyone know of a reliable aquarium thermometer that's not too crazy expensive?

Have you found it accurate? May have to bite the bullet and buy it because I don't know which crappy thermometer to trust anymore lol...
