coral banded shrimp

Hi everyone,
My coral banded shrimp, Snip, molted. Should I leave his molt in the tank for him to eat? Or should I take it out?

I always remove them. The will usually hide till there shell hardens again.

They will often eat part of the molt, but typically most goes uneaten. If the molt is out in the open and obviously far from where the shrimp is hiding probably just best to remove it.

No problem! I have a mated pair and love them....

I took out the molt. When I fed my fish before, Snip came flying out from under his rock for a piece of clam. I just checked my tank now that the lights were off and he was at the top of the rock eating something else! Guess he feels strong enough already! Have a great night!
