Hi, I recently purchased a blue linckia starfish for my 100 gal tank and my chocolate starfish bit it's leg (there is damage) the leg has not fallen of though. There is some green stuff coming from the injury and from the bottom of the starfish, is this normal while healing? I separated him in in a section of the tank and am going to get rid of the chocolate starfish (I didn't know that he would try to eat it won't make that mistake again) thanks!

IME a sea star will heal in just a few days if it is otherwise healthy. So, keeping it healthy and eating is paramount.

I would move the Chocolate Chip and let the Lynkia have access to the tank. It truly does take a 100 gal. tank to keep one Lynkia healthy. You can isolate the CC because you can feed it; you can't feed the Lynkia.
