Its that time again, time to trim. Anyone who needs a bag of chaeto lmk. I ship on mon/tues of each week and probably have about 10 bags worth available. I put a considerable amount in it-not the lfs small plastic cup version. I usually just recommend 1 bag but if you are not sure then however many you need. It also grows fast with the correct lighting so another reason why I go with the lesser amount-even though that means less of a sale for me.

What light do you use for your Chaeto? I'm not happy with the growth on mine. I have a clamp-on work light from Lowe's but what bulb should I be using? Thanks :colorful:

From what I have read try to stay around 6000k. I used 5500 with the same type of fixture you have and it works great. I got the bulb at HD.

Oh, and I leave it on 24/7 at about 8 inches from the surface.
