My tanks been running 12 months now. My calcium hasn't really moved at all staying at about 420ish. I only have a few frags so would that be with its not using any cal.

This is not at all unusual, especially if your doing regular water changes. Now if you had a systems loaded with SPS corals and/or clams, then you might see calcium depleted quickly.

In your case, don't panic and don't mess with success, by trying to get the "numbers" "just right".

In time the frags will grow, and you may encounter calcium issues, so test things once and awhile just to be sure.

Thanks. Nothing's seems to be growing.
My nitrate is night which is probably my problem but I can't get it down. Red sea test show it at over 50. I am using nopox and even used vodka as I was told that woukd help. I do water changes and it's still high.
