Blue Devil (Chrysiptera cyanea) lifespan

I got mine like 6 years ago. Killes every other fish. Despite me hating her, I can't just kill her...how long do I have to burden her? It's a damn damselfish it should not live forever doesn't it?

How long do they usually live under normal reef aquarium conditions?

Damsels are very hardy, almost indestructible as far as SW fish go. I have had some for over 10 years, and only lost them because of a major power failure when I was away.

Your best solution here is to give it away, or set up a tank just for it, so you can move on with your main tank.

Haha this sucks but I get it. I traded in my wrasse to the fish store and they actually gave me retail for it. Mine was killing all of my snails.... 75$ worth in one shot. Traded it in, got more snails and a less aggressive tank. Check with your lfs to see if they will take it so you don't have to kill it
