Birth in my "other tank"

I have not started a thread for my 55g freshwater tank. It is not really a "show" tank, I just like having an easy community tank in the living room. It has garden rock instead of gravel, so it is easy to vacuum out and plastic plants. I keep a variety of fish in it, and catch the sales at my LFS to replenish it. A lot of those are Tetras. They are easy to keep and have a good life span. Among those I have 4 Sierra Leone Tetras, a larger variety. Years ago I researched them, though I have forgotten a lot of what I learned about them, and knew that they were egg layers and needed a very specialized environment to breed. I also read that it would require special plants and a single species tank. But that is not why I got them anyway.

Yesterday morning I discovered that against all research, and against the odds, I have one baby swimming in and out of the rocks. Looks to be several weeks old and in good health. I don't know how this came about, but I think it is awesome.
