Best T5's for limited space

I have a 48" Coralife aqualight pro w/ 2 150w mh and 2-96w pc actinics. I feel like there isnt enough actinic in the tank. If i put coral 5 or 6" under the actinic then you can really see it. Is there anyway to deepen the actinic? I was thinking of maybe adding a couple 48" t5's to supplement. My only problem is my tank is 18" wide and the Coralife is 15" wide so i would probably have to angle the t5's a little. What will give me the most actinics for how much space i have?

Do they HAVE to be T5s? I think PCs might be a little easier to play around with and fit.. either way, I'd recommend getting a retrofit kit and put one in front and one in back (if going the PC route) or a couple bulbs in front and a couple in back (if going the T5 route). You'd have to make a housing for them, but I think this would be the best way to get the most customizable setup.
