Best Mp40 mode for a SPS tank

For you fellow reefers out there who use two mp40's what have you felt has given your sps the best flow mode, for optimium growth?

Please let me know if you have them in anti-sync or non anti-sync mode.

And finally are your pumps across from each other or are they on same side?

I don't know what the best flow mode for "optimum" growth would be but I run both of mine in sync and they are running at about 80% max speed. I have them on the ends across from each other with one slightly lower than the other to create a swirl effect. I don't seem to have any dead spots in the tank with this setup.

I run mine in Reef Crest Mode. LPS, SPS and a couple softies like it, great growth everywhere.

I don't have SPS but everything in my tank loves the MP-40s. I'd suggest Reef Crest in Anti-Sync for the original MP-40 and Tidal Swell in Anti-Sync for the new ES. Mine are about 3.5 inches down from the top water line across from each other. I use anti-Sync cause you get a much better change of flow and direction as it gows thru the patterns. Have fun!
