It seems that there is some discussion about the Halichoeres Lamarii, Halichoeres annularis, and Halichoeres marginatus all being in the same species complex, which means that they are closely related and have similar appearances between them. And when I went looking for online vendors selling the 'dusky wrasse' each of these three would be sold as such.

So, yes a Dusky.

Well I bought a 200g dd tank setup. Sweet kit with orca pro 1 skimmer and controller etc. Today we went to move it into house and lol it won't fit down the stairs. Back to drawing board. Maybe a 180 or 150xt instead

so thinking i might try a 80g rimless (48x24x16) or 120g (48x24x24) or even a 150xt. (48x24x30)

thoughts on the options?

Well I'm intregued the most with the 48x24x16 as other then eating all the interesting stuff is mud to bottom of tank.

But I love stag horn type corals and wonder if 16 too shallow. That's a full 8 inches shorter them the 130d

pretty much ruled out the 48x24x16 rimless as i think 16 is just too shallow. But its sooo nice looking

Progress on next tank,, Deep Sea 80 gallon. (48x24x16) rimless.

Didn't want to go too big or too small and i like the corals , shrimp and small fish so i don't need a deep tank..

Have a trigger 30 elite sump for it and lots of odds and ends from my 130d
