b-ionic ca/alk buffer question

my ca is like 500 and my alk is mike 5.5dkH, i have b-ionic liquid buffer, can i just add the alk bottle? the directions say to add the alk then the ca, but scince my alk is low, can i just add he alk?

Is it 500 or 700? At any rate you are going to have to let that Ca level come down naturally. You can add just the Alk portion of the 2 part but it probably won't do to much for you alk with Ca that high. It can also cause a steep rise in the pH so without the chemistry experience, I sould say don't do it. You need to measure your Mg and get that in line.
