are my power heads good for my tank

I have a 55 gallon tank that has 15lbs of live rock and 40 lbs of base rock 90 lbs of live sand. Right now I only have 2 blue damsels and a diamond gobie. I am waiting to add my coral after I get all my fish. I just bought two 800 gph powerheads and I wanted to know if thats not enough flow too much flow or a good amount of flow. I plan on putting one on both ends of the tank.

I have about that much flow in my 29, about 900GPH, around 30x turn over. It all depends what you want to keep. I think anywhere from 15-30x is good for general reefs. If you want more flow demanding corals, obviously you'll need more, and for sensitive soft corals, obviously you'll need less. It's all up to what you want to keep. I think 30x is good to start out with though.

What kind of powerheads are they? 800gph of a linear flow powerhead(Maxi-Jet) is =/= to 800gph of dispersed flow(Koralia, Vortech, Seio)
