Are my clowns going to spawn? (Video inside)

It is possible but I have had clowns "dancing" for months now.....black ocellaris take a little longer to spawn than regular ocellaris

I too have black saddle backs. I have had them almost a year. They dance like crazy, are territorial about their 'host' candycane, but no eggs. I had many eddgs from my maroon pair, however.

I just though because they were cleaning the nest site. They are actually orange occelaris, they just look black in the actinics.

Hey neighbor! If they do spawn and you need rotifers just let me know. Free is a lot cheaper than ordering online. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

The cleaning they are doing is nesting behavior (notice they stay in about the same spot) Get a nice closeup of the belly of the female with all the lights on. They look plenty big enough. Depending on the belly shot, I am betting on eggs in the next few weeks.
