Aptasia ??

Is this Aptasia? It started out with a few little stringy pieces and I thought it was a hair algae at first. Now there is more of it and I am thinking that it is something else. My peppermint doesn't touch the stuff. The emerald munched it a bit but hasn't been near it for a few days. I have some Astrea's that I added yesterday, will they get rid of it?
Otherwise, I am thinking of simply taking that piece of rock out.

The pictures is a little fuzzy so its hard to tell but it doesn't look like aptasia to me, I think it might be some type of algae. That would be a good idea to just remove the rock if its just on one rock.

I did another water change today, took the rock out and scrubbed the h*&% out of it! I have it sitting in it's own bucket of water right now and will stop at the LFS tomorrow to see if he thinks it's okay to go back in the tank. Not exactly thrilled with my new rockwork, but I'm also not sure that, that ONE piece is going to make a huge difference. It was only on that rock, so if it was yucky - hopefully I caught it in time.
