anthias not eating

i recently bought a sailfin anthias. she has been in the tank approximately 3 days. i have tried feeding her flake food, some pellet food (tetra spectrum) i got at my lfs, and frozen brine shrimp but she has not eaten any of eat. she will put the shrimp in her mouth and keep spitting it out and then sucking on it and then spitting it out. is this normal? do u have any suggestions?

Hummm... not a good sign that she won't eat thawed brine. Anthias should feed aggressively. Maybe try some frozen mysis?

Also, always ask the LFS to feed the fish prior to purchase just to be sure it is eating.
