Aiptasia on a clam's rim

Last night I checked my tank when the lights went out and I noticed an aiptasia on the lip of the shell. I don't see it this morning, but I still think it's there.

How should I get rid of this so I don't damage the clam? I used lemon juice / syringe in the past when it's on a rock, but I am worried this could cause a problem since I am in such close proximity of the clam.

Thanks!

it will burn the mantle and its got to go. Find where its at, pull clam from tank and bury the little (*(%Iju27) in crazy glue gell

if you get it to close up i dont see that it would burn the mantle. unless its just that close proximity. i'd have to see to really say.
