Hi Chaps / sorry and girlies
Can anyone offer me advice on these Tunze pumps. I'm replacing my maxijets with a TUNZE and want approx 8-9000Litres per hour (Approx 2200GPH).
The 6080 is the cheaper unit and offers the flow rates that i want but does not look like a very flexible unit. I'm looking to upgrade my tank in a year or two so I'd like to buy a larger unit but don't want to blow everything away in my current setup
From what I understand the 6100 can be used with controller that can be set to wave motion etc etc. The 6100 also has a variable speed control.
My questions are, if I buy a 6100 . . .
1. Do you need the controller to use the variable speed output or is that set on the pump itself.
2. The 6100 shifts upto 12,000lph (3,000gph) but what can you set it down to. Is there a minimum flow rate that it operates at.
