I know I need to add calcium since my levels were ~420 and I think I need to increase my KdH. What else should I be adding? I see so many products that talk about improving coral growth and health, but I am one whoe think less is best and thus I do not want to add stuff that my tank really doesn't need.
My tank is about 2 months old and my ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates have all been 0 for over a month. pH is steady at 8.0 and my temp is also steady at 80.8ºF. Other than some issues with algae (seems to be under control) things have gone smoothly. I have around 20 frags of all different stuff in the tank (zoas, polyps, xenia, acans, favia, yumas, ricordeas, montiporo, and a few I still need to identify). I have been messing with the location of these frags and once they seem happy I leave them be. I really want to start off right with this tank so any suggestions of actual products will be very helpful.
