13's BSJ heaven

Hey guys...

So after some time of convincing co-workers that we really need a saltwater aquarium we finally got one. (Ok, well two of us ended up paying for the entire thing. But it's awesome.)

We bought a well established system with mature live rock and sand, along with some Xenia, a few mushrooms and a few other fish.

We've set it up, transferred the inhabitants, and are off and running. Everything is alive and well.

Now for the best part, .....we just added a small BSJ, and built him a sweet house to start. As always any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.
.
Check it out!

For the blue spot I know you need ALOT of live rock rubble in the tank, that is how they build their home and its a necessity. And you will want to make sure the top of the tank is covered, they enjoy carpet surfing (they think they will atleast, but its dry for them...lol). Here is a good link to get rid of the hassle glass tops will bring you...

Bluezoo also says they will attack "small ornamental shrimp" but I dont really know what qualifies in that...lol

Thanks Jeremy..
I appreciate it. This will be my second BSJ. Both are alive and well. I've got one at home in my 24gal Nano. And now this guy in the 80 Gal. Good info!

Thanks Dentoid! (It's actually at our fire station)
I''l keep everyone up on any changes and pics..
We may go for two BSJ's down the road but I'm still hesitant with only 80Gal. It's a deep tank with a 4-5inch sandbed. Not much width to it though. about 48" long....
take care.

Beautiful fish.
I hve 2 in a 90 but they are on completely opposite areas of the tank. I was extremely worried about adding the second since 2 males will fight often to the death.
Keep us posted with pics.
The more the better. These guys are just soo much fun.

Update..
Everyone here at the station just stares at the tank..we spent way to long starring at our new favorite fish, the BSJ.
Already after only a few days we're wondering if we should go for two.
What do you guys think?

The last few days have been good for the new BSJ in our station. He gets plenty of attention.
I've noticed at night he seemes to completely retract inside his new cavern. He hasn't been up at night swimming around.(or at least it appears that way)
He is a voracious mysis/brine shrimp eater. no name for it yet...any suggestions?
