I'm having some issues with heat during the summer. My water temp is getting up to 82 degrees. Is there a fan you guys would recommend that clips on the back and fits nicely? I've found a few different options but none will fit... =(

The strut you are talking about is located under the actual tank. I had the same problem as I purchased the Tank kit on ebay and the stand direct from Red Sea.

Also, I will be looking for a basic controller mainly to monitor water parameters.

Are you running the stock skimmer?
