There are some mesh bags available. But I believe they would still trap pods. I use a filter sock on and off. Whenever I remove it or change it out I look for pods and snails and return them to either the sumo or display. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like the toxins from the nem got into your water. I would suggest starting some water changes over the next few days. Nothing crazy maybe 25-30% do like 5 or so. You may consider activated carbon as well if you are not using it. What are your current water parameters? Did the other nems...

Nitrates at 100ppm is very high. I would do a 20% water change each day until it returns to normal limits. Are you missing a large specimen in your tank? When was your last water change? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
