i really like my 20g planted. it has a price log on the thread (and recent pics ). it is low-light so very affordable. my petsmart is very nice. i have gotten everything for my 20g except driftwood from there
I have been to about every petco within 100 miles of my hometown and in my experience none of them have been good. Here is why
1. Bad service
2. Unknowledgeable staff
3. Tanks are disgusting with cyano, algae, and/or dead livestock.
This one store is horrible. Thats my experiences with them. Others in different parts of the US might have better luck than me.
have you started the rock work frame yet? sorry about my typing - got my keys cleaned finally, should help the sticky key,(I got too fed up proofreading)
I had help today getting my stand reinforced. (It was a fold-up stand made by iIsand aquarium, can you believe that!.
I remember having a strong reason against cooper, IDK how it is with tangs though. good luck and sorry. the ick will seem like it goes away, it doesn't.when did you get a sixline? lol, i didnt know you had one. ive been looking into getting one ever since last night. our local club had a talk on parasites, and how sixlines eat nudis, and flat worms.
as far as better treatment for the fish, hypo is less stress. for you i think copper is less stress, pH is a huge battle with hypo, but not as bad with copper.
Here is what the new plan is. All the corals, the snails, crabs, shrimp, and stars are going in a 10 gallon tank with the 130 watt PC light. The 55 is going to be removed of all rock and most sand and then once its just fish that tank will go through the hypo, that way no combining tanks or setting up new stuff or any of that. Make more sense to everyone, seems like a better idea. Then none of the fish need to be messed with, and with the hypo going im shutting the sump off so that water will be used for the coral tank so there will be no acclimation period.
