Beautiful update!
How are you fighting the high phosphate content?

It is an on going battle for sure. I just re-added some Chemi-pure Elite that I had not had for maybe 6 months... ( I always used to run it) So I hope that helps a bit along with my RowaPhos.

I guess the best thing would be to do more water changes. I do one about every 2 weeks so I need to start doing it once a week.. Only think I could think of that should help a lot more.

Great Coral photos!! We need a FTS update picture too :D
My phosphates were running high (still are!!) but it has dropped from .17 to .08 since I added my sump.
I'm just not going to let the numbers stress me out cause my corals (LPS) all seem to be doing good.

Well that is some good info. What kind of hardware are you using for your sump? I have just got myself a sump but I need an over flow and a skimmer. Any info on your overflow would help a ton 

I have a LifeReef sump & overflow....the overflow from LifeReef reads to be the best for not failing & not causing a flooded floor in the event of a power outage while you are not home.
Read about them here: http://www.lifereef.com/siphon.html
I've tested mine lots of times & it stop & re-starts without me having to panic.
I'm not a DIY person so I needed it all to work safely, :yup:
