Cool Thanks, I didn't see him in the picture the first time!

Don't they need alot of stuff in the sand bed to eat?

No they don't but I do put food in the sand sometimes, and he always knows were to digg.
He never goes to the surface though, but he does catch food nearby.

Thank You! My 25 I'm running without a sandbed, it was always nasty. It runs fine with out the sandbed, actually grows coraline all over the bottom so its nice also.

I think it was the CaribSea stuff the sell in bags. It was awhile ago so I don't really remember, it wasn't crushed coral.

ok, because people have issues with crushed coral. before the goby, I would clean the sand manually with a turkey baster. But maintanance in this tank became so much simpler and easier than my freshwater tank.
