You tell me what this is. I guessed Cyphastrea but it is the first time I have seen a coral like this.

That is a Ichydonttouchgive Tojiddyrightnow coral, and is highly toxic and poisonous, i would found a sucker to sell that right away, ill take it if you give me $20??? Sound like a deal?

I think I will push my luck and hang on to it for a while. If I start to get boils on my face and limbs start to fall off I will have it sent to you ASAP. Are you HAZMAT certified?

It is possible it is an lps but the polyps on this coral are super small for an lps. That piece is only about two inches across and I have acropora that has bigger polyps than this guy.

I had originally thought it was an lps myself but a few others I showed pics to thought sps. It doesn't really matter.

The polyp structure is consistent with LPS. Your right in that as good as it looks in your tank it really doesn't matter.
