About two years ago I switched my lighting from VHO's on an icecap ballast to t5's on the same ballast. At that time I had my auqarium for about 10 yrs and I never had it fully stocked with corals, so pretty much only live rock. At the time of the switch I had two or three little sprigs of what looked like grass blades. After the the lighting switch the grass like plant started to grow like crazy, and covered all my love rock. I finally took out all the live rock and cleaned it the best I could. It's been good for about a year now, but it's starting to come back. I attached a before and after photo, and am wondering if there is any fish that will eat this stuff or how i can get rid of it without tearing the reef work down again?
Oh, and it's extremley coarse, if ou squeeze it it crunches. I also have a kole tang and a sailfin bleney and they occasionally pick at it but don't doo much as far as getting rid of it.
