Unidentifed Zoa

Can anyone tell me what kind of zoa this is? It just started growing in my tank out of no where one day

Hard to tell from the pic. Do a Google search for either "Majano anemone" or "Palythoa" and see if you can confirm. The Majano would be a pest anemone that you don't want in your tank. The Palythoa is know as a "polyp" or "button polyp", and is a type of soft coral.

Hard to tell from the pic, but looks more like a Pally to me.
Just a guess. Do some searches to verify.

From the pic it looks like a paly, but hard to tell.

+1 for the paly. it'll be hard to tell what color they are until they start to "color up" usually a week or two after they get to a given size... depending on your light.

btw.. is that a purple tang being a camera hog? lol
