After killing two hermits I give up on th e pipe trap.
I saw a bristle worm. It was 1/16" thick, he showed 1" of himself, no tellin on total length. The first 1/4" was orange, the rest was black. Had white bristles. Should I go with my first instinct and kill it?

Sounds like a common bristle to me. Nothing to worry about unless you touch it. Then the spikes stick in your hand.
