If you start getting emails telling you your inbox is full but you only have a couple items in your INBOX, make sure you switch to SENT ITEMS and delete there too.

When you send a pm there is a box under the text area where you can uncheck (save a copy to your sent folder), if you do this you don't have to worry about the sent folder.
