New Bubble Tip Nem

I purchased a new bubble tip a couple of weeks ago. It was small in the store but since I brought it home it has tripled in size. I understand that when healthy the tips do not stretch out and you can't see the mouth. This is what it looks like:

Does this look healthy? Is the increase in size positive or is it trying to get more light. I have Steve's LEDs turned up to 75% but only run them for 8 hours 4 of which they are fading in and out. Is this enough time? I have fed it half a silverside once a week and it has eaten it. Any advise would be great.

Looks perfect to me. Here is mine perfectly healthy and inflated. Not all bubble tips make "bubbles." No matter how strong the light in my tank is,

the big ones almost never bubble up.

PS: you don't need to feed it weekly but no harm if you do. Every two weeks or monthly is fine if you want the growth to slow down a little.

Thanks for the info. This is my first Nem and was not sure to tell how it was doing. How long are you leaving your lights on for?

Mine are full power from 9am-6:30pm. One hour before and after are just the blues.

I might try to increase the time the light is on by an hour and see how everything goes.
