my hospital tank

i purchased a 40g tank to put my fish in to get rid of ich. i have a hang on filter, air, and a heater. what should i do? no sand? please let me know thanks alot

The hospital/QT should be barebottom if possible.

Just learning about QT tanks but from what i've heard so far, it should be bare bottom. Most people use a sponge type filter with a air pump & a heater.

What type of fish will you be treating? How many? I dont want to tell you anything wrong, but I read somewhere that you are suppose to treat one fish at a time to reduce the stress level, but if all your fish have the same illness i'm unsure what to do?
