midas blenny?

I got a Midas Blenny for my 29g reef a couple of weeks ago. He seems to be happy and feeding, but he constantly swims around at the top of the tank. He will dive into the rock if you approach the tank and has established a "hole" that he always goes to. I expected him to spend most of his time in the rocks, anybody got one and does it share this free-swimming behavior?

I have one and it did the same when I first got it. It use to sit on top of the PH at the top of the tank all the time for the first few weeks or dive into a hole in the rock when I came into the room and look out at me. Now, it swims all over and has two holes that it stays in most the time. I've had it for over a year and it is by far one of the most funniest fish to watch!! Just recently it started to go lay inside of my Monti Cap. and hang out. They are so full of personality. Good luck with it!
