man i love turtles. i had 5 when i was 6 years old and wouldnt mind some now. but boy do they stink up a room.
My brother had to move so I took his tanks till he finds a new place. I removed everything from his 55 and cleaned it. Then put his gravel, decoration and 10g of his old water in my 55. I didnt clean the gravel or decoration as to try and keep the bio-filter that was already established. Everything seems to be ok for now. I just need to go pick up some fresh water test kits to keep an eye on things.
In the turtle tank I just drained the water for the move, cleaned the filter and replaced the water.
PS Have you ever tried to catch a 12" fish with a three inch net.....? Yeah that was a PITA

I really dont have any plans persay. Just to maintain them momentarily. I do plan on setting up my brothers 55 for the turtles and am going to give him my 55.
