I am a Newbie and just put my Live Rock in my tank. One of the pieces of rock has lots of this growth (algea) on it. Can anyone ID it and tell me how to get rid of it?
Caulerpa. It is extremely invasive and almost imposible to remove. It is even illegal in California.
Remove any rocks with that algae on it or you'll have it everywhere in your tank!
