Foxface Aquaculture?

Was just reading some books over Aquaculture to learn some of the techniques for different types of fish. And it got me wondering have rabbitfish like the foxface been bred in captivity? If so does anybody have any links to it, thanks!

I apologize for not having the information you need, but the odds of this happening are just not in our favor IMO.

I'm not sure if a 300, 500, 1000 gallon tank can sustain this type of reproduction. FWIW, the odds of broadcast spawners such as snails is not good in our closed systems to begin with. Stranger things have happened though... :)

Yea true, I just didnt know if any of the open ocean facility were working on rabbitfish or if there is not as strong of demand as of fish species.

Yes, Rabbitfish hatcheries for human food consumption. Do a net search on rabbitfish mariculture or rabbitfish hatcheries. Most of the activity is occurring around Indonesia.
