Crocea lighting

I only have 36" total to work with so it can't be too big

I would suggest you read this... http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/tridacnid-clams/36202-attn-all-current-future-clam-keepers.html and by the way, I have a derasa clam and it's doing well, but I am runing mh lighting on the reef tank. Choose the right bulb for the light and you could come pretty close to simulating natural sunlight. If you can afford to do so, you won't regret it. I myself have placed the light a little closer to one end of my tank so that some of the low light organisms can thrive also.

Take care
Aaron
