no, it sounds like a territorial aggression. I have seen damsels do the same thing, and we all know, clowns are a breed of damsel....im not 100% on that behavior, but have witnessed it before..

The 'shaking' is a type of submissive behavior. It sounds like they are getting along just fine. I've had different types of clowns pair up and spawn in my reef; all of which would shimmy and shake at their mates. It is sorta like a dance.

mine are just under one year old. how old will my clowns be when they lay their eggs? is there anything i can do to encourage breedin? such as feeding meaty foods and supplying anemones?
