I have some Maxima on the bare bottom. They do fine. They like to tip over occasionally ... but they don't seem to mind. I try to let them lean against some rock. One actually attached to some rock at the base at about a 45 degree angle and it seems fine. I think Crocea however may need something to grab onto or bore into.
