Chevron Tang

Hi! So I have a chevron tang who has really been getting beat up by the other fish in my tank. The tank is about 150 gallons and I was thinking of possibly putting him in my sump to let him heal a bit before continuing to
be picked on. Is this a good idea or not so good idea?

What are the other fish? How long has the Chevron been in the tank? How big/old is the Chevron? How large is the sump and what else is down there? Also, if he is getting beaten up it might matter what you are feeding him because he will need good food to heal up the damage.
