I could be mistaken so wait for other opinions :)
Or search on line for Clavularia sp.
I think there are several color variations if that is what it is.

Really interesting read, thanks Frisbee. Interesting that the placement and flow flies in the face of what was discussed - guess I got lucky :pbjtime:, it is in the top third of the tank in some reasonably strong flow. Also it grew from virtually nothing so I guess it's my mission to keep it strong and happy!

Anyone out there have any views on more beneficial placement?

I would say that if it has been steadily growing, it just happens to like where it is.
If it ain't broke, then don't fix it.

It must be nice to get good HH from time to time. I just get rubbish. Congrats!
