Anemones fighting?

I looked at my tank last night and found that one of my warty anemones had extended itself a good inch from its rock and was hovering over my rock flower. The Rock flower, which normally sits flat on the sand, had also extended itself over an inch, leaning away from the warty - it looked like it was trying to get away.

I got in there and moved the warty's rock a away from the rock flower. Now all seems OK. Were they fighting -- or rather, was my warty picking on my rock flower? Do they do this?

Thanks, reefguy! In your experience, do they actually pick fights, rather than just sting anything that comes near them?
