2 types of Macroalgae? ID needed...

I have 2 types of macroalgae growing in my tank. One is green and sends out runners with normal looking leaves on it. The other is an almost transparent red plant that grows much slower, but has somewhat normal looking leaves as well.

Anyone know what these are?

I'm guessing that the red one is a sea grape. The sample is too small to tell. Botryocladia

Since the green one spreads by rhizomes, it is likely a specie of caulerpa. I'll see what I can find.

Good call, Curt! Thats the red stuff! :D

The other stuff looks slightly like Caulerpa brachypus.

Ahhh damm tom the green one is razor calurpa and a real pain in the butt. Carefully remove it and try to get all the roots and holdfast, that crap was the vain of my tank for years, the shear site of it scares the crap out of me.

remember carefully remove, dont break it up.
