I decided to try npx beads via a Deltec FR509 and Eheim 2000 compact, I inherited a modifed Aquamedic Turbofloter I400 fitted in the COD, which has worked fine. I drilled the bottom of the skimmer body to take the return from the reactor, but the high flow was to much for the skimmer to handle. Can anyone advise if I can use something like a Deltec APF600 without a sump as I want to keep both FR509s in cabinet, the other one is runing seagel.
