So after my move to my 20 gallon i have a spar tank with all the parts neccessary for another tank...

So i thought to my self y not make a frag tank while holding natures perfect killing machine

so i am turning the spare tank into a mantis only wit a few zoas and shrooms.

its all ready i am just waiting on the 2 lfs stores to get one of em in...

here are my choices

gonodactylus smithii
and
chorisquilla tweediei

and heres the tank all set up...

i thought i would give the mantis some shrooms

is there any differenc or advantage to having dark sand over light sand?

I can see in my mind the dark being worse for the lighting since it obsorbs the light

Not sure if it does but for a mantis and shrooms it really wouldn't matter.
Looks good. You should put pics on the mantis club forum

I honestly can't see it making a difference much in any tank , just personal preference. I have been on black sand, white sand, brown sand, pink sand, and mud beaches. Since your livestock most likely came from all over the globe its not a 100% natural match anyway.

I love the file name of the video!

Mantis shrimp are so amazing, I just want to snuggle one...but then I remember I enjoy all the parts of my body I do have...and I care not to lose them.

i have. i have indeed.

it feels like someone snapped you with a rubberband.

but when he sickled me with his lil switch blade, that was a horse of another color right there

Do another video with that same song dubbed in. Then drop in some food and change the music to Metallica Master of Puppets.
