What size is the overflow ? what size drain also ?

I need to be able to run a MAG 18 wide open with only 1-1/2 feet of vertical head.....I have 2 Amiracle overflows which handled the pump fine when the return was plumbed as 1/2 PVC but i wanted more flow so i re plumbed the return as 3/4 PVC and now the sump runs dry...I do NOT want to throttle...
